DAY 01 – ARRIVE AT CALICUT AIRPORT OR RAILWAY STATION & TRANSFER HOTEL
Upon arrival at Kozhikode Airport, our representative will meet and assist you transfer to Hotel. Calicut – Kerala’s best-kept and perhaps the loveliest, secret place. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Lunch and leisure in the comfort at the resort. The Mananchidra Maidan-an architectural splendour, Kappad beach, the Planetarium with extensive insights of the mysteries of the universe, the planets and the galaxies etc are some of the attractions that make Malabar one of the World’s most desirable destinations. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 02 – CALICUT TO WAYANAD
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Wayanad. Check into the Hotel. Afternoon visit Kuruva Island. The wooded stretch of land is home to rare species of birds, orchids and herbs is an ideal picnic spot. Proceed for Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary. You can find here spotted deer, elephants, bison, leopard, and tiger etc. Drive back to Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 03 – AT WAYANAD
After breakfast proceeds for a full day Trekking tour to Edakkal caves. The two caves are located at a height of 100 meters on Ambukutty Mala near Ambalavayal. The new Stone Age pictorial writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are evidence of the civilization that existed in these regions in prehistoric times. The caves can be accessed only by a 1 km trekking trail from Edakkal. Have lunch at Edakkal Hermitage- a living complex different from the usual run of tourist hotels and resorts. After leisure at Hermitage, drive to Soochipara Waterfalls with a three-step waterfall, more than 200 meters in height framed by enchanting scenery. This region is ideal for rock climbing. The visit includes the Spice Plantations.
Afternoon visit Pookot Lake, a perennial freshwater lake nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities, a Children’s park, a handicrafts and spices emporium and freshwater Aquarium are among the tourist facilities available here. Overnight at the Hotel
DAY 04 – WAYANAD TO COORG
After breakfast, proceed to Coorg which is situated south-west of Karnataka. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. A land of chivalry and pride, a life of solitary splendour rich food and spices is in short termed Coorg. Smell the coffee, taste the oranges, flavour with cardamom, savour the honey. Popularly termed as the Scotland of India, Madikeri, the district capital of Coorg is 1525m above sea level. Rest of the day for leisure and relax after a long drive. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 05 – AT COORG
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Coorg, Trekking, Jungle Safari (Arranging by hotel and chargeable). Enjoy an aesthetic holiday here in the lap of nature. Sparkling valleys, lush green mountain ranges, awesome weather, all beckon you to the land of warriors. The Dubare forest situated in the south of Coorg is an Elephant haven. It was here that originally elephants were trained for Dasara celebrations. Here you can simply spend hours just watching elephants, their walk, their play, their fury and just about anything. Nisargadhama is a popular family holiday spot. With ample cottages spread over the forest area, it is an ideal place to spot deers. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 06 – DEPART FROM COORG TO CALICUT AIRPORT OR RAILWAY STATION
After breakfast at the hotel, the day free for you till you are transferred to the Calicut Airport or railway station to your onward destination.
